Pets are family too!

Sea Mist understands that your furry little friend is, with out a doubt, part of the family too. Among the 800 plus units at Sea Mist, there are select accommodations dedicated to guests who wish to bring their pets with them. We welcome all well-behaved, small to medium sized dogs and cats. (No exotic pets please).

Sea Mist Pet Etiquette & Helpful Information

Sea Mist requires all of the shots your pet requires are up to date.
Pet should be on a leash (or in it’s carrier) when not in the room.
Accommodations at Sea Mist allowing pets are located on lower floors, so we ask that pets are kept off the elevators.
Always clean up after your pet. Bring your litter box for cat, or pooper-scoop and/or baggies for your doggie’s deposits. (Sandwich bags work great and are inexpensive.)
Sea Mist provides daily housekeeping in all units, however, pet needs to be in their carrier or crate at time of service.
There is a fenced-in dog run available at Sea Mist which can accommodate 1 to 2 dogs at a time. Dogs cannot be left unattended while in the dog run.
Please do not leave pet unattended at anytime when not in room.
There is a $50.00 non-refundable deposit per pet per stay.

Pet Services: There are many services available in Myrtle Beach for both cats and dogs such as groom & boarding services and pet kennels. When planning a day trip, some guests utilize these services while at thebeach or when scheduling a day trip.

The City of Myrtle Beach Leash Law:

Dogs in public must be on a leash at all times.
No animals are allowed on the beach or Ocean Boulevard between 21st Ave. N. to 13th Ave. S. of Myrtle Beach during any time.
No dogs are allowed on the beach between 9am - 5pm from May 15 - Sept. 15.
